Translation today is often part of a longer graphical process involving many different file formats. We can handle all file formats, including XML, InDesign, Quark, Framemaker etc.
Clients often spend time copying content out into a Word document, sending it for translation then going through the same exercise in reverse when it comes back. This is time-consuming and costly.
A far more efficient and cheap solution is to send us the original files (e.g. InDesign or XML), so we can manage the whole process. We extract the relevant source text, convert it to an editable format that can be processed by our translators against a translation memory, then translate it and convert it back to the original file format and deliver finished copy.
That way, the client gets a fully translated original file – ready for the press. No time-consuming exercises either before or after the translation process.
